How I like to work (values and preferences)
A high-level list
- In a team and collaboratively
- In a kind, thankful but driven culture. (Kindness goes a long way.)
- Using the industry standard process, tools and methods. But open to adjusting based on time, budget, business or team constraints.
- I prefer minimum viable research as much as possible to base all design decisions on evidence that is not just heuristic or based on opinions. If time and budget are available for a full-scale in-depth research
- I’m more of a doer than a presenter. If you prefer working with a designer that produces work, then I’ll be a good fit.
- I’m more of a listener than a designer who always has to give an opinion or find faults (being overly critical).
- I believe the best work comes from taking incremental steps towards product “perfection” over time and that all members of the team can contribute to this goal.
Work I like to do and work on
- Information architecture for navigation (Card sorting).
- Complex dashboard design in website and apps
- Any known website or app improvements
- Working with branding and marketing
